C’garh polls: BSP 1st list of candidates out

BSP on Saturday released its first list of its candidates for the coming Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh, due in November 2013.

Releasing the names of 21 candidates, state BSP president Sadanand Markande told reporters said the party would announce its candidates for other Assembly seats in phases. He, however, evaded queries if his party would field candidates in all the 90 Assembly constituencies in the state by simply saying, “BSP is the first party to announce candidates for the Assembly polls in the state.”
