Call urgent meet of CMs, advani to pm

Terming government’s failure to resolve the Mullaperiyar dam issue as “paralysis of decision making,” the BJP on Thursday asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to urgently call a meeting of chief ministers of both Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the two affected states.

Insisting that PM must take an initiative, BJP parliamentary party chairman L.K. Advani said the issue should be resolved at the earliest. Mr Advani along with other senior party colleagues are also expected to meet PM on this issue.
