CBI finds 10 phones of MLA

The CBI, probing the murder of Bhopal-based RTI activist Shehla Masood, has recovered 10 sets of mobile phones allegedly belonging to a local BJP MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh. Role of the BJP MLA is under scanner of the agency because of his alleged closeness with Zahida Parvez, an interior designer and a prime suspect in the case.

According to sources, the agency recently recovered 10 sets of mobile phones, all are operational, from the residence of Mr Singh. Probe by the agency has already revealed that Zahida allegedly decided to eliminate the RTI activist because of her growing closeness with the MLA. Probe has also revealed that Zahida was so obsessed with the MLA that she had kept her one office staff just for monitoring his movements and analysing call details through his duplicate bills, sources added.
Sources in the agency said, “Role of Mr Singh is under scanner of the agency. The agency has not given a clean chit to him. All calls made from his 10 cellphones are being scrutinised.” The agency sleuths are also scrutinising the conversation details of Mr Singh and Ms Parvez, sources said. Zahida reportedly came into contact with the MLA in 2007 and allegedly developed an intimate relationship with him. “She used to keep a close eye on the alleged friendship between Shehla Masood and the MLA,” sources added.
“The agency is examining the reason behind keeping 10 mobile phones (each bearing different numbers) by the MLA. His statement will soon be recorded in this regard. If required, the agency officials will question his family members also,” sources said.
Meanwhile, Zahida and her close associate Saba Farooqui refused to undergo a lie-detection test in Bhopal on Monday. This is the second time that they have refused to undertake the test despite giving their consent before the special CBI court. The court had permitted the agency to carry out the tests on them.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
