Bhopal: BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Wednesday vowed to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi's last wish to rid the nation of Congress.Addressing a huge gathering at the party's Karyakarta Mahakumbh rally here, Modi didn't leave any chance to take on the Congress and said: "We must remember that 2015-16 will be the birth anniversary of Deen Dayal Upadhyay and we pledge to have BJP government at the Centre and most of the states."While heaping praises on Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, he accused the Congress of targeting Chauhan and hampering developmental works in the state.  "When NDA was in power it never tried to destabilise opposition govts," he said.More than Modi's speech the highlight of the meet was senior BJP leader L K Advani sharing dais with Modi. Advani, who had vociferously opposed Modi being anointed as PM candidate, did participate in the rally as a show off of strength, but remained reticent for most of the dais.Advani, in his speech, said, "Today if BJP has reached this place in Indian politics it is not because of eloquent speeches but the hard work and penance of party workers. We will not win elections merely on the basis of speeches but on the basis of the work done by us."Modi's speech largely focused on how Madhya Pradesh has progressed under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chauhan, who has given the party organisation a new direction. It is an honour to be here on the birth anniversary of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.Modi also said, "The best performing states in India are ruled by BJP or its alliance partners."With reference to the CBI giving clean chit to SP leader Mulayam Singh in DA case and other, he said, "CBI will fight the next elections for Congress."On the development front, he said, "The Congress used to speak of inclusive growth because BJP implemented it."He warned people, "If you don't want your kids to be in poverty, you have to ensure BJP's victory. Everyone is predicting a political storm in favour of BJP. It is activists of BJP who are responsible for creating this storm," he said.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
