Chalakudy school adjudged best in values
Thrissur: CMI Public School, Chalakudy was adjudged the 1st Best School in India for Value Centred Education. The prize was awarded by the external affairs minister Mr Salman Khurshid.
An eminent jury examined the value centered activities of the school which was presented among the 100 best schools of India.
Among 9000 CBSE, ICSE, IB and Cambridge schools, 100 Best Schools in India were selected in which CMI Public School stands out as the one and only school from Kerala to win a place. And amid the 100 best schools, CMI Public School received the award for First best school in India for contributions towards furthering Value Centered Education.
The vision and dreams of the school, headed by the Principal, Rev.Fr.Santhosh Mundanmani, at CMI is now becoming a reality.
“The effective weekly evaluation done at home and in school on the demonstration of virtues through homely and weekly evaluation cards was observed by the jury as commendable and noteworthy. The students’ active participation in social service activities like Snehasparsham, contribution of books to the needy, visiting retirement homes and centres for specially- abled were also highly appreciated by the jury. CMI Public School stands out as the single school which follows a systematic method of evaluation to measure the value centered activities of the students” says Principal, Fr.Santhosh Mundanmani.
