Cinema link found to 17-yr-old’s pimping

In a new twist to the sex scandal in which a 17-year old girl from Maradu in Kerala was molested by several people, the police has confirmed the girl was sexually exploited while acting in movies Blackberry and Amen. The girl’s family allegedly allowed the sexual acts.

A junior artiste, the girl was raped at a house in Champakkara and a lodge in Thevara by two other junior artistes. The police did not reveal the names of the culprits, a search for whom was under way. “Prima facie, no big players are involved,” the police said.
According to the police, ten people are involved in the case, including her parents, stepfather, lover, the two junior artistes and four others.
The parents, the stepfather have been arrested along with four other accused.
They were Sudheesh (23) of Paravoor, Rajesh(29) of Maradu, Shibu(31) of Maradu, Laiju(31) of Ranni, along with the victim’s lover, her father, mother and stepfather. Sudheesh was the first to molest the girl, back in 2010.
The arrested would be produced before the Paravoor judicial magistrate on Monday.
The police would seek their custody in a bid to conduct an identification parade for the victim.
