Close aides meet Anna in Tihar Jail
Anna Hazare's close aides, including Kiran Bedi and Swami Agnivesh, on Wednesday met the civil society leader in the Tihar Jail to discuss the road ahead.
Activist Medha Patkar and lawyer Prashant Bhushan were there as well. A member of Hazare's team said they were discussing the future course of action.
"We have been getting reports of Anna-ji walking out of Tihar from media but we have no confirmation on this," she said.
Hazare was jailed Tuesday ahead of his fast for an effective anti-corruption law at the J.P. Park.
The Delhi Police action led to protests across the country. The government changed its mind later in the evening and released Hazare but he refused to move out of the jail until he was allowed to carry on his hunger strike without any conditions.
"Anna's fast is going on, the movement is going on, he has left the barracks of the jail but is in the room of a jail official. Whatever we were supposed to do in the (J.P.) park, we are doing here," said Manish Sisodia, Hazare's aide.
According to Sisodia, Anna Hazare will not leave the prison till the location of his fast is finalised.
Hundreds of people holding the tricolour and shouting slogans gathered outside the Tihar Jail in support of Hazare.
