CM's grievance cell disposes of 90 pc complaints received
The grievance cell set up by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has disposed of over 90 per cent of the 12,000 complaints received since its inception two years ago.
"As many as 11,011 complaints have been disposed off by the Chief Minister's grievance cell so far out of 12,121 registered complaints," an official spokesman said here on Friday.
Advisor to Chief Minister and MLA Eidgah Mubarak Gul on Thursday reviewed the functioning of the grievance cell, which was set up by Abdullah in September 2009.
To clear pending cases, Gul asked the concerned Deputy Commissioners to speed up the disposal process.
Gul stressed on the functionaries of the cell to put in co-ordinated efforts for settling the cases of the people without putting them to inconvenience.
