CNG, piped cooking gas prices are hiked
Soon after the petrol price hike, the rates of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped cooking gas have been raised to `29 per kg and `18.95 per standard cubic meter (scm) respectively in the national capital.
In the case of cooking gas, for consumption of over 90 scm in a period of four months, the applicable rate in Delhi would be `26 per scm. Indraprastha Gas Ltd raised the price of CNG sold to automobiles by `1.25 per kilogram (4.5 per cent) to `29 per kg with effect from Saturday midnight, a company press statement said here.
However, the CNG price in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, which have higher local sales tax rates, will be hiked by `1.50 per kg to `32.50 per kg.
