Cong mocks bedi over ticket issue

Unimpressed by Team Anna member Kiran Bedi’s offer to return the “overcharged money” back to those who had given her, Congress on Monday, while ridiculing the former super cop, said by this yardstick if corrupt

people give back money, they too should be absolved of their crimes.
Reacting to the statement by Ms Bedi to return the money, AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh contended: “This means if the corrupt people return money, they will also be absolved of their crimes. Then why has A. Raja been kept in jail? Mr Raja also returns money and comes out.”
