Cong says trust vote ‘vitiated’
Slamming the second trust vote won by the B.S. Yeddyurappa government in Karnataka as “vitiated” and “subverted”, the Congress on Thursday said no party could run a stable government with such a majority. By rejecting Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Siddaramaiah’s request to wait for the HC decision on the disqualification of 16 MLAs before seeking the trust vote, AICC spokesperson Manish Tewari said, the whole exercise was “a vitiated and a subverted” one.
