Congress-NCP standoff continues
Expressing serious reservations over the functioning of the UPA government, its ally NCP leader Praful Patel on Friday said his party had conveyed 'certain views' to the Centre and things have not be resolved yet.
Further, Patel said NCP chief Sharad Pawar had met the Prime Minister on Thursday and the party would continue to be part and parcel of the ruling UPA at the Centre.
But, he hastened to add, 'NCP has some serious issues about functioning of the Central government.''
NCP chief and Maharashtra strongman Pawar had sent a communication to PM on certain issues and the party will meet on Monday to take stock of the situation.
