Congress organisational change: Digvijay Singh replaces Ghulam Nabi Azad as Andhra Pradesh incharge

New Delhi: AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh has been made incharge of party affairs in Andhra Pradesh.
Digvijay Singh replaces Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, who was handling the Pradesh Congress Committee's affairs for the last few years. His appointment is likely to upset many Congress leaders including PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana who maintained very close relations with Azad.
Digvijay Singh's appointment as incharge is being viewed as a prelude to the revamp of Pradesh Congress Committee which is expected to happen after ongoing budget session of the State Legislative Assembly.
