Conspirators keep others under surveillance: Minister
Lashing out against the alleged intelligence surveillance over senior ministers, panchayat raj minister K. Jana Reddy on Wednesday said that people who indulge in conspiracies and do wrong things were the ones who keep surveillance over others. Mr Reddy maintained that he had nothing to fear about such acts.
He added that nothing should be read into the ministers’ Delhi trips as they would either be on departmental work or for meeting central leaders on Telangana.
The minister dismissed rumours of any rift among the T-ministers on moving the Central leadership on the Telangana issue as a creation of the media.
“It was a conscious decision to send a few ministers to Delhi to represent the matter,” he said, addi-ng that the ministers urg-ed the Centre to take a quick decision on bifurcation.
Asked whether he would visit the family members of a student who committed suicide in Osmania University, he did not give straight reply but appea-led to all the T-youth not to take extreme steps.
The minister said he would convey his view on change of leadership and setting up of development council as alternatives to T-state if the high command asked for it.
“I need not express my view to media,” he said.
Reacting to the allegation that the ministers from the Telangana failed miserably in convincing the high command on the division of the state, the minister said he would not mind people rating T-ministers as a “failure”.
