Cops find skull of MP Cong leader
The Dhar district police has picked up one of the accused and recovered the partially burnt skulls of local Congress leader Kailash Agrawal and his driver from Kadola village in Dhar district. The Congress leader was said to be missing, along with his driver, since Friday.
The Dhar district superintendent of police Rakesh Gupta told this newspaper that on the basis of their investigations, one Sardar Singh was picked up. During interrogations, he confessed that he and his brother Narain Singh had intercepted the Congress leader’s vehicle and took him along with his driver Dinesh Makwana to a room, where both were murdered. Their severed skulls were burnt in a dry lake-bed and the bodies were thrown in the Narmada river. Their vehicle was driven away and set on fire near Ashta on the Bhopal-Dewas Road. Narain Singh, one of the main accused, is absconding. The murdered Congress leader was the vice-chairman of Dhar municipality.
