Cops oppose bail plea of MHA mole
The special cell of the Delhi police on Saturday opposed the bail application of the suspended IAS officer Ravi Inder Singh, accused of allegedly passing official information to unauthorised persons, saying that the matter was still at an initial stage of investigation. Vehemently opposing the bail plea of the accused, public prosecutor Rajeev Mohan told the court, “The officer has been sent to judicial custody after being in custodial interrogation for six days. The matter is at an early stage of investigation.”

Tourist dies in road accident

Dec. 4: An Italian tourist was killed while his wife and daughter were seriously injured on Friday night when a bus rammed into the auto rickshaw in which they were travelling in Fatehpur Sikri.
The Italian tourist, identified as Robert, and his family had reached Fatehpur Sikri from Agra on Friday and had taken an auto to the see the “Buland Darwaza”.
The auto driver halted at a barrier when a speeding bus rammed into the three-wheeler and ground to a halt at the road divider.

FIR on magistrate for asking dowry

Dec. 4: The police has registered an FIR and the Jabalpur high court administration has ordered a vigilance probe against a first- class magistrate, who allegedly assaulted the bride and demanded dowry at his own wedding at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh earlier this week. Dewas superintendent of police S.P. Singh told this newspaper that the police has registered an FIR and investigations are on against Inder Singh Malviya, I-class magistrate.
