Cops won’t confirm if nurse left suicide note for family
Nurse Jacintha Saldanha, who was the victim of a hoax call about the health of Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, had left a suicide note for her family, according to a report on Tuesday.
Jacintha, according to the Evening Standard, left a note for her family. However, there was no confirmation of the same by the Metropolitan Police, which described the 46-year-old’s death as “unexplained” and not suspicious.
Scotland Yard was expe-cted to announce the findings of Jacintha’s post-mortem, which was held at the Westminster mortuary in London on Tuesday.
Jacintha’s husband Benedict Barboza, her two children, Junal (17) and Lisha (14), on Monday visited the King Edward VII Hospital and the work-provided accommodation on Weymouth Street where she was found unconscious on Friday last week.
Hospital chairman Lord Glenarthur, meanwhile, welcomed the Australian firm’s announcement that it would donate at least £320,000 in donations from the advertising profits of its Sydney radio station to Jacintha’s family.
