DCP V. Satyanarayana said that Ashar Raoof who belongs to an affluent family had a dispute with Eshwar over an open plot measuring 1100 square yards on Road No: 13 at Banjara Hills. The plot was in the possession of Eshwar and is adjacent to his house.
The two had a legal battle in the City Civil Court in connection with the plot. Two years ago when the judgement came in favour of Eshwar, Ashar decided to eliminate him and grab the land.
"He conspired with his supervisor Afsar two months ago to kill Eshwar. Afsar arranged the gang of four comprising Haji, Sajid, Abbas and Khaja and they planned the murder meticulously.
