Currency notes found floating in swamp

It may sound strange, but hundreds of people here on Monday thronged a swamp in the outskirt of city to fish out currency notes of Rs1,000 and Rs500 which was seen floating in it, reports our correspondent.

In what the police also refused to believe initially, a wetland in Chachal area, close to a Management College and Ginger Hotel, was flooded with currency notes.

As the news spread, people in the area thronged the spot and started fishing out notes.
