Death row convict Rajoana in hospital after chest pain
Balwant Singh Rajoana, a convict on death row for the assassination of Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, has been admitted to Rajindra Medical College and Hospital in Patiala, due to chest pain.
Rajaoana is in a stable condition now, hospital authorities said. He has complained of chest pain in the morning, thus the jail doctors rushed him to the Rajindra Hospital, where the doctors have conducted a series of test related to heart ailment.
The hospital authorities has confirmed that Rajoana has been hospitalised with chest pain.
Lat year, the radical Sikh groups opposed the death sentence and wanted the Akali government to urge the President to intervene.
