Delhi for Afzal plea delay till Games

New Delhi

The Delhi government wants to delay a decision on Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru’s mercy petition till after the Commonwealth Games in October, not wishing to take any chances with security for the mega event. Chief minister Sheila Dikshit had earlier said the Games could be a “soft target” for terrorists.
