Delhi says no danger in yamuna ebb and flow
Rickshaws are seen submerged in the Yamuna as the river crossed the danger mark in New Delhi on Saturday. A flood alert was sounded in the low-lying areas after heavy downpours for three days caused the water level to cross the danger mark. Later, however, the Delhi government said the water had started receding and asserted
that it was geared to meet any flood-like situation. “Keeping in view the decreasing trend, it has been stated that there is no cause for any panic,” officials said. n Report in Delhi Special PHOTO: Asian Age
