Depositors want money returned

Demanding the return of their money, the depositors of another chit fund company gheraoed its directors on Saturday.

The directors of “Suryakiran” — Sukumar Karmakar and Samik Sarkar who were in hiding after the collapse of Saradha Group were caught by the depositors in Mallickpur near Baruipur. The depositors of this locally popular chit fund group alleged that despite reaching the maturity date, the directors had not returned their money for four to five months.
Seizing Saturday’s opportunity, depositors got hold of the directors. Soon, more dgroup’s Asansol office.
