Dhaka holds 2 Ulfa agents captive
Guwahati, Dec. 25: In what may be called a serious setback to the Ulfa chief, Paresh Baruah, two of his trusted lieutenants have been picked up by security officials of Bangladesh.
The top Ulfa leaders, Antu Chawdang and Pranjit Saikia, are in the custody of security officials in Dhaka, who were the front men of the Ulfa chief, and manage entire operations on his behalf in Bangladesh.
Sources told on Saturday that they are going to be pushed back to India in a day or two. The security sources also denied having information about the chief’s son’s kidnapping.
