'Doctor' caught in airport for shoplifting

A man was arrested at the NSC Bose International Airport today for allegedly stealing a bag from a gift shop in the domestic terminal, the police said.

Arun Kumar, who identified himself as a doctor from Bengaluru during interrogation, was loitering in the domestic terminal arousing suspicion among the CISF personnel guarding the airport.

They started watching him in the CCTV and he was picked up when he was seen stealing a bag from the shop.

Kumar, who reached here from Patna yesterday was to catch a flight for Bengaluru, was handed over to the airport police, the sources said.
