Don’t misbehave with media, or I’ll end protest: Anna

Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal apologised to the media for the scuffle that broke out between Anna supporters and mediapersons on Monday evening at Jantar Mantar.

Social activist Anna Hazare too cautioned supporters not to turn violent, else he would be forced to end the fast at Jantar Mantar.

The Broadcast Editors' Association (BEA) had sought an apology from Team Anna condemning the scuffle that broke out between Anna supporters and mediapersons on Monday evening at Jantar Mantar.

The incident took place by around 10 pm on Monday night when some Anna supporters entered into an argument with the mediapersons.

Supporters were unhappy that the media was not projecting the protest in right light. The argument turned into a scuffle.
