Durga Shakti Nagpal reinstated quietly

Lucknow: After facing severe criticism on the issue, the Uttar Pradesh government has revoked the suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal and has done so, rather quietly.
“Her suspension was revoked four days ago but she has been asked not to disclose the same because we do not want another round of controversy on the issue. For the time being, Durga Shakti Nagpal will remain attached with the Board of Revenue and is likely to get a fresh posting after a month or two,” a source said on Thursday. She has also been ‘advised’ to seek directions of her seniors on sensitive and controversial issues in future.
