Enraged over his extra-marital affair, a woman allegedly killed her husband by setting him on fire while he was sleeping, police said on Tuesday.

The incident took place on Monday when the woman sprinkled kerosene on her husband and set him on fire while he was asleep in his house at Madarpur village in Hargaon area here, they said.

The man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition where he died today.

Extra-marital affair was stated to be the motive behind the act, police said.
