Ex-mla is new chairman of minority panel

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot has appointed former MLA Mahir Azad as chairman of state minority commission and Moulana Fazle Haq as chairman of Madarsa Board. The CM seems in hurry to make political appointments to galvanise party’s rank and file. He also appointed former PCC chief and Jat leader Narayan Singh as chairman of Kisan Ayog.

The CM appointed former IAS officer S.N. Singh as chairman of Dang Area Development Board. Mr Gehlot also appointed Anil Pareek as chairman of Khadi Board. He is considered close to Union minister for transport C.P. Joshi.
