TV exit polls are trying to paint a picture of the Assembly elections outcome.

According to the latest numbers, the Samajwadi Party looks set to regain power in crucial Uttar Pradesh as it is likely to win 185 seats in the 403-seat Assembly. However, it remains short of singular majority.

Mayawati's BSP is facing collapse with a possible win of just 85 seats.

The Congress and the BJP are currently involved in a tightly-fought match to secure third sport in the state. Numbers reveal both parties may land 55 seats each.

In Punjab, Congress could score a decisive victory with 60 seats in the 117-member House. In Uttrakhand, the race is tightening between the Congress (30 seats) and the BJP (28 seats).
