Family readies to welcome ‘reborn’ Alex

Alex Paul Menon’s family is overjoyed at the prospect of the Sukma collector returning home on Thursday after 12 days in Maoist captivity.

“This is a new start for Alex. I am sure he will continue to work for the people in Sukma with the same commitment and love,” said father Varadharas.

He said even if asked to choose a different place to work Alex would prefer Sukma. Mr Varadharas said the collector was improving roads and education in the district.

People of Tirunelveli, native place of Alex, have already posted welcome messages on Facebook.
