Fight for IPL passes raises a stink
Revenge never smelled so bad!
The war between KSCA and Bengaluru corporators over free IPL passes hit a new low after the BBMP authorities, Monday, seized a Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) garbage truck at Talghattapura.
The KSCA alleges this is in retaliation against the association’s refusal to give free IPL passes to the civic body.
Deputy Mayor S. Harish said that he was not aware of any garbage truck being caught by the BBMP and if so, it was a coincidence.
A furious Mr Harish had threatened to settle scores with KSCA when denied tickets, accusing the body of indiscriminately dumping garbage, posing an environmental hazard, and warning of huge penalties for violating the law.
In other words, doing your duty! Right, Mr Deputy Mayor?
