Five arrested, Rs 1 crore ganja recovered

Visakhapatnam: Excise police took five persons into custody and seized at least 560 kgs of ganja worth more than Rs1 crore, in different raids conducted in Visakhapatnam district on Tuesday.
In a major raid conducted in Chodavaram village, police arrested two persons while they were transporting ganja from the village to town in a van and recovered ganja bags weighing 500 kgs worth Rs 1 crore.
In another incident, excise police conducted a raid and arrested three persons K. Raju, Sakthi Varahala-mma and Porru Tulasi and recovered 65 kgs of ganja which they were transporting in a bus from Visakhapatnam to Warangal.
