Flight returns to airport due to engine problem

A Dubai-bound flight of Emirates Airlines with former the Union minister, Mr Shashi Tharoor and his wife Ms Sunanda Pushkar on board returned to the airport here after take off on Tuesday morning due to a problem in the aircraft's engine.

The plane was carrying 186 passengers, airport sources said.

The flight is rescheduled for later in the day.

The newly-wedded couple were on their way to Dubai where they are expected to throw a party at Jumeirah Beach on August 30.
