Fodder scam: Lalu appears in CBI court
Two days after his impassioned speech in Parliament about the anti-corruption Lokpal Bill, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday appeared in a special CBI court in connection with a case in the Rs 1,000-crore fodder scam that had hit undivided Bihar in the mid 1990s.
Along with Yadav was former Congress leader Jagannath Mishra, a co-accused in the case who preceded Mr Yadav as Bihar chief minister, as designated CBI judge Binay Kumar Jain had fixed the day for framing of charges against the two leaders and other 32 co-accused.
