Forced into legal action, says Swamy

Filling an application before a designated CBI court Janata Party president Dr Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday told the court that he was forced to take legal recourse after the CBI communicated to him that though a case has been registered in connection with the 2G spectrum, nobody was named in the FIR. He was seeking his appointment as the deemed public prosecutor for conducting the trial in the 2G spectrum case. He also told the court that he took the initiative as the Prime Minister had refused to grant sanction for prosecution against Mr Raja.
