Four UP ministers face FIRs
A local court on Saturday directed the police to lodge a case against four Cabinet ministers of Uttar Pradesh and five other persons in connection with an article published in a magazine allegedly denigrating Hindu gods, goddesses and epics. On an application filed by one Radhey Shyam Varma, CJM Mohammed Ashraf Ansari
directed the police to lodge an FIR against Swami Prasad Maurya, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Naseemuddin Siddiqui and Daddu Prasad and five others. The application said that in the May issue of Ambedkar Today, an article was published in which allegedly objectionable comments were made against Hindu gods, goddesses and epics. —PTI
