Four-year-old kidnapped, found dead

The body of a four-year-old boy, believed to be kidnapped by his neighbour who allegedly killed his sister, has been recovered from a concrete mix grinder in Bisrakh area, police said.

His body, which was found on Friday, was identified by his mother on Saturday, who alleged that the accused Ramesh had also killed her six-year-old daughter, they said.

"Today the boy's was sent for postmortem. There, it was identified by a woman from Harola who claimed he was her son Vikas," SHO (Bisrakh) Dhanpal Singh said.

The accused had allegedly killed the boy's six-year-old sister on July 13 before kidnapping him, SHO said, adding the motive was dispute with his parents. On July 14, the boy's father had lodged FIR against Ramesh for killing his daughter and kidnapping his son, he said.

Police said, the accused had surrendered before the Chief Judicial Magistrate's court on July 19 and his police remand was being sought.
