Age Corespondent
New Delhi
In a first National Investigating Agency probed case coming to the Supreme Court proved to be major victory for the newly set up federal agency as the top court refused to entertain the bail petition of an Assam officer booked by it for funding a banned organisation. The NIA had alleged that Assam’s social welfare deputy director Redaul Hussain Khan had been found “diverting” funds to Dima Halam Daogah (Jewel) (DHDJ), banned by the Union government. The trial court had granted Mr Khan bail on the health ground.
