German lady on train insulted, 1 held

A native of Pattambi was arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Kannur station for allegedly showing indecent gestures and attempting erotic talk with a German lady while travelling on the Ernakulam-Madgaon Express on Monday.

Suresh Babu, son of Kumaran, Karimbath House, Trittala, Pattambi, Palakkad, was arrested when the train halted at the Kannur station around 7.55 pm based on the written complaint of 25-year-old German Naina Baver.

Ms Baver was travelling in the reserved compartment and the accused allegedly indulged in indecent behaviour ever since the train left the Ernakulam station at 2.25 pm, police said.
