Ghaziabad court rejects Nupur Talwar's bail plea

A court in Ghaziabad has rejected Nupur Talwar's request for bail and she will remain in the jail where she was brought on Monday evening.

Nupur Talwar and her husband Rajesh Talwar have been charged with the murders of their daughter, Aarushi and their domestic help, Hemraj in 2008. Both were found dead at their home in Noida.

On Monday evening, Mrs Talwar was arrested after a CBI court headed by Judge Preeti Singh refused to grant her bail. Nupur Talwar's lawyers appealed against that verdict, but lost their case on Wednesday.
