Gogoi says Ramdev is anti-Cong

Bogged down by campaign of Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev against corruption, Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi here on Sunday said that Swami Ramdev is anti-Congress and was pursuing his political agenda.
Refusing to condemn the derogatory remarks of Arunachal Congress MP Ninong Ering, Mr Gogoi told reporters, “Swami Ramdev is targeting the Congress party only in his campaign against corruption. In his speech, he talks about the corruption of Congress party only as if others like BJP and AGP are free from corruption charges.”
Visibly upset over campaign of the yoga guru which has added teeth to the campaign of the Opposition political parties against the ruling Congress party on corruption, Mr Gogoi also said that his campaign would not have any impact over the prospect of the Congress party. Mr Gogoi was in North Lakhimpur near Dhemaji where Swami Ramdev on Sunday announced that his crusade against corruption would continue even if entire Congress MPs oppose him.
