Gujarat gov seeks modi fast expenses

Gujarat governor Kamla Beniwal has sought from the state government details of the expenditure incur-red on Mr Narendra Modi’s “Sadbhavana” fast, intensifying the faceoff with the chief minister who has demanded her recall.

Ms Beniwal, who has been locked in a row with the state government over the appointment of a Lokayukta, sought the details in a letter based on a representation received fro-m MJP chief Gordhan Zadafia. — PTI
