India must take Pak base attack seriously: Advani

BJP leader L.K. Advani on Thursday said the attack on a naval base in Karachi has raised questions over the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear assets. Mr Advani had asked the government to take note of the seriousness of the situation.
“The situation is really serious. It does not only concern Pakistan. It is a matter of concern for India as well as

several other countries of Asia,” said Mr Advani on the sidelines of a function to release an interim report of the party on condition of people as well as security forces in certain areas bordering China. Mr Advani had spoken to finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and defence minister A.K. Antony.
