India tests Agni-IV missile
India on Tuesday conducted a test of its nuclear-capable surface-to-surface Agni-IV missile from a defence base in Odisha, military sources said.
"The missile, which has the capability to hit targets over 3,000 km away, was tested from a facility off the state's coast in the presence of senior defence officials," defence ministry spokesperson Sitanshu Kar told IANS.
Agni-IV is a modified version of the Agni-II strategic missile.
