Indian Navy's UAV crashes
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Indian Navy crashed near Visakhapatnam on Thursday while returning from a maritime exercise in the Bay of Bengal, an official said.
The crashed pilotless plane was a Searcher MK II tactical UAV used for surveillance, reconnaissance, target acquisition, artillery adjustment and damage assessment.
"There has been no loss to life or property reported. An Inquiry has been ordered to look into the circumstances leading to the crash," a naval spokesperson said.
