Jagan plans big surprises in LS list

By all accounts, YSR Congress chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy plans to spring many surprises in the party's list of candidates for the Lok Sabha.

According to sources, Mr Reddy has `almost finalised' the list and has asked a few candidates to start campaigning, even as indications emerge from Delhi that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi plans to go for early polls, perhaps in March-April, 2013, without clubbing the LS polls with polls to any of the state Assemblies. Mr Reddy is believed to have prepared the lists of candidates for both the LS and Assembly, though he would prefer the two elections were held simultaneously, be it in 2013 or 2014.

It is an open secret in the party that the candidates' names would be cleared by Mr Reddy alone and then be communicated to the 'core group' of leaders, like Sakshi Ramakrishna Reddy, Y.V, Subba Reddy and Y.S. Vijayalakshmi.

According to sources, Mr Reddy has his sister Y.S.Sharmila Reddy in mind as candidate for unidentified LS constituency .

Meanwhile, sources said names of Congress MPs Gutta Sukhender Reddy and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy , TD MP K. Siva Prasad have been finalised as YSRC candidates, much before they leaders “defect“.

Similarly, the name of senior Congress MP K.S.Rao's daughter is also being circulated in party circles as a possible candidate from Eluru, besides film personality G.
Adiseshagiri Rao, brother of actor Krishna.

Interestingly, the almost finalised list of candidates does not have Mr Reddy's name as the candidate from the Kadapa LS seat, as he would, in all probability, contest from the Pulivendula Assembly

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
