YSR Congress Party leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday wrote to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh alleging that the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh in collusion with opposition Telugu Desam Party and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have hatched a conspiracy against him.

In a letter to the prime minister seeking his intervention, the Kadapa MP said under the conspiracy he would be arrested by the CBI and the Congress and TDP would indulge in large scale violence and blame him.

Jagan, as the young leader is popularly known, said using the violence as an excuse, the government would urge the governor to recommend to the Election Commission to postpone June 12 by-election to one Lok Sabha and 18 assembly seats.

Jagan, who is facing CBI probe into alleged illegal assets, shot off a similar letter to Chief Election Commissioner S.Y. Quraishi.

"This is not a mere allegation, but I have credible and reliable information on how and where the conspiracy took shape and who were party to it," he said.

Jagan claimed that senior Congress leader Vyalar Ravi during his visit here last week had secret meetings with Chief Minister N. Kirankumar Reddy, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu, CBI joint director Laxminarayana and Director General of Police V. Dinesh Reddy.

Jagan alleged that police were trying to create a situation in Hyderabad on May 28, the day when he is to appear in CBI court. "The DGP office issued a confidential circular to seal off all the roads leading to Hyderabad on May 27 night," he said.

The MP said the CBI had been trying to implicate him in the case.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
