Jaganmohan meets Dikshit over yatra?

In what came as a surprise to many political pandits here in the capital, rebel Congress MP Jaganmohan Reddy from Andhra met MP Sandeep Dikshit at an undisclosed destination on Tuesday. Mr Reddy played down the significance of the meeting saying that they were friends and therefore met casually. He added that they both are of

the same age group and they met basically to exchange views on a variety of subjects. Mr Dikshit, when asked about the meeting, confirmed it and said they need to meet again.
According to sources, the meeting came in the backdrop of Rahul Gandhi and Mr Reddy exchanging pleasantries in Parliament on Monday. It is being said that Mr Reddy and Mr Dikshit discussed the upcoming Odarpu yatra that Mr Reddy is all set to undertake in Prakasam district in the next few days. Earlier, Mr Reddy had undertaken the Odarpu yatra against the wish of the high-command. Even though the central leadership of the Congress threatened disciplinary action if he didn’t heed to the advice of the party, it never dared to act against him. The party is already besieged by the defeat in the Telangana bypolls and some loyalists of Mr Reddy have started throwing taunts at chief minister Rosaiah.
Even though the party has started initiating action against such errant behaviour by his loyalists, it can’t afford to antagonise Mr Reddy completely as he commands a sizable following in the state. AP for the Congress is too important a state to ignore. And therefore this rapproachment through Mr Dikshit.
According to sources, prior to the meeting between Mr Dixit and Mr Reddy, Sabham Hari, MP from Ankapalli had a discussion with Mr Reddy.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
