Jawan held on molesting girl in a running train

An army jawan was arrested on charges of attempting to molest a girl in a running train in Bihar's Begusarai district, Government Railway Police (GRP) officials said on Tuesday.

Rajbir Singh Yadav in an inebriated state allegedly tried to molest a girl when she was asleep in UP Guwahati-New Delhi North East Express last night.

Angry passengers soon overpowered him and later handed him over to the GRP at Begusarai railway station when the train stopped here early today, they said.

He was also thrashed by a group of passengers in the train, they said.
